April Augustine and Brandi Brandt both made the Dean's List during the spring semester, along with SWAC All Academic Team member Jasmine Tillman who posted a perfect 4.00 GPA.

Incoming Freshman Jennifer Honore and her 18U Gold Club Team, the Louisiana Blazers have qualified to participate in the ASA Gold Nationals in Oklahoma City, OK.  The Gold Nationals will be held August 3, 2009 through August 9, 2009.
