The Southern University Lady Jaguars softball team will host
Louisiana College Lady Wildcats to their first home
doubleheader of the season.
Southern’s (5-6) head coach Nancy Marshall is in her 12th
season on “the bluff” and is seven victories away from her
300th career win.
The Lady Jags haven’t been on the playing field since their
lost to Nicholls State University 1-7 on February 16.
They will use this game as a tune-up before their
venture to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to participate in the
SWAC round-up March six through the ninth.
The game is set for Saturday, February 28, and is scheduled
to start at 1:00 and 3:00 pm and will be played at Lady
Jaguar field.
The event is free and open to the public.
